The World Basketball Cup is considered the main event of the International Basketball Association (FIBA), as the first version of it was launched in the country of Argentina in 1950, with the participation of 6 international teams. 25,000 supporters - the United States of America, and the Argentine team managed to win this match with a score of (64-50) points, declaring himself the first champion of the World Basketball Cup. Thus the second place went to the American team, while the Chilean team won third place. 

First World Handball Cup Winner 
The first world handball championship for men (for closed halls) was launched in Germany in 1938 AD under the supervision of the International Amateur Handball Federation, known for short as (IAHF), which later became the International Handball Federation, known for short (IHF). This tournament lasted only two days, namely: the fifth and sixth of February, noting that only four teams participated in it: Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Austria. 

Unusually, this tournament did not have an actual final match; Where each team faced the rest of the three teams; That is, with 6 matches, the winner of this first tournament of its kind was determined, and it was the German team that won the most points, while the second place and the third place went to the two teams: the Austrian and the Swedish, respectively.
